Today, after a continental breakfast, Celebrate Mass at St. Mary Major followed by your tour of Christian Rome exploring three of the major Basilicas of Rome: St. Paul Outside the Walls, where three springs emerged from the spot where St. Paul's head hit the ground after he was beheaded during his persecution; St. Mary Major, where the floor plan was laid out during a miraculous snow in August and where is housed the relics of the holy manger, and St. John Lateran, the first Christian Church to be consecrated and the Cathedral of Rome. Then see the Holy Steps climbed by Christ in Jerusalem and the Basilica of the Holy Cross where some of Christianity's most important relics are housed, including a piece of the True Cross, thorn, and nails. During the afternoon, you will be free to explore the Eternal City, perhaps visit other museums or shop along the famous Via Condotti and Via Corso. Overnight in Rome.
